ChainDecode

Explains smart contracts in plain English, flags security risks, detects proxies, and adds market context across Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Solana. 17 specialized analyzers, 4 chains.

Smart contracts are supposed to create trust, but most people can't read them — and even developers miss hidden logic when the code is messy or intentionally obscure. I needed a tool that strips away the noise and shows what a contract actually does, in plain language and with real risk indicators. ChainDecode exists because transparency shouldn't require guesswork or blind trust.

What ChainDecode breaks a contract into: six focused modules, across four chains.

01

Multi-Chain Support

Dual-pipeline architecture supporting 4 chains: Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum via unified Etherscan V2 API, plus Solana via RPC and Solscan integration. Single API key supports 60+ EVM networks.

02

Advanced Risk Analysis

ChainDecode Solana Risk Score (CSRS) from 0–100, combining authority status, Token-2022 extensions, and behavioral signals. 5-tier authority classification from Renounced to Unknown Wallet, plus honeypot detection and centralization flags for EVM contracts.

03

Smart Detection

Identifies token standards automatically: ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-4626 on EVM chains and SPL Token plus Token-2022 on Solana.

04

Proxy Intelligence

Detects proxy contracts and merges implementation ABIs. Analyzes program authority and upgrade capability across both pipelines.

05

Market Integration

Real-time price data via CoinGecko with live ticker widget and on-chain liquidity analysis.

06

Transaction History

Decodes transactions with 23 method signatures on EVM chains and Solscan integration for Solana.

ChainDecode interface showing smart contract analysis

From contract address to readable risk report. Four steps.

01

Chain Selection

User selects target chain (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, or Solana) — each defined in the ChainTerms glossary — and submits the contract or program address.

02

Data Fetching

Chain-specific connector retrieves data: ABI and source code via Etherscan V2 for EVM, or account data and IDL via RPC for Solana.

03

Core Analysis

14 EVM analyzers or 3 Solana modules process the contract with proxy detection and risk assessment running in parallel.

04

Report Generation

Findings compiled with CSRS score (Solana) or honeypot flags (EVM), enriched with CoinGecko market data and presented in plain English.
